I agree. It's one of the best open-source anti-virus products around. AVG from what I'm told gives too many false positives in AV tests.

Avast is said to be just as good as ClamWin.

ClamWin is good for AV scanning, but it has no real-time scanner (you have to scan a file yourself manually before opening it) but seeing as it's open-source that can change. I did use AVG once before after switching from Norton bloatware but then switched.
